— BusinessInsurance.com reports that a New Orleans appellate court judge has ruled that WWE has the right to seize counterfeit merchandise. This overturned a previous lower court ruling that WWE didn’t have the right to do so. WWE filed a request in April during WrestleMania 30 week in New Orleans to stop the sale of bootleg merchandise.
— Curtis Axel returned to WWE during last night’s episode of Main Event from the Times Union Center in Albany, New York. He beat Justin Gabriel. This was his first TV match (outside of a match taped for Superstars this week) since Ryback was injured several months ago. Michael Cole said on the broadcast that Axel had been dealing with his own injury. For those wondering, there are no plans to have “RybAxel” reform at the current time.
