As reported yesterday, starting on January 15th, 2015, SmackDown is moving to Thursday nights in the United States.
Today, SLAM! Wrestling reports that in Canada, SmackDown will be moving to Wednesday nights from 8-10 PM ET on Sportsnet 360. The show will move to its new night on January 14th, 2015. This is due to the station’s commitment to air hockey on Thursday nights.
In Canada, SmackDown will go up against NXT. It will also be the first country in the world to see the show.
