Roman Reigns was a guest on the Hampton Roads, Virginia radio station 106.9 The Fox, promoting WWE’s tapings in the area. He spoke about his hernia and said that he would have died if he didn’t get to the hospital in time. He said tried to deal with the pain and get used to it, but when he couldn’t do it anymore, he went to the hospital. He also said that his time off also allowed some nagging injuries to heal. He added that he was shocked that WWE split up The Shield since they put a lot into the group at that point. Reigns also praised the work in FCW and NXT and said that he had an easier road to WWE because of his family. He doesn’t expect things to come easily and won’t let it get to him if it doesn’t.
