John Cena Off This Weekend + A Sami Zayn Storyline Update

— John Cena is getting this weekend off. He’s not scheduled to work any live events, including Sunday’s SmackDown taping in Sioux City, Iowa. Hulk Hogan is scheduled for the taping. The dark match main event is Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns vs Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt.

— WWE.com has posted a storyline update on Sami Zayn after he was attacked at NXT Takeover: R Evolution by Kevin Owens. They said he was “diagnosed with cervical & thoracic muscle strains” and was held overnight for observation at Winter Park Memorial Hospital in Florida. He is resting and will begin “physical therapy” before coming back “within three to four weeks”.
