A Backstage Report/Rumor On The Royal Rumble Winner

According to known WWE insider MetsFan4Ever on Reddit, the talent backstage at RAW were “greatly divided” on whether Daniel Bryan or Roman Reigns should win the Royal Rumble. Those who feel Reigns should win believe he is the future of the company and “the next John Cena”, while Bryan supporters feel he is the man and that if he doesn’t, the ending will be a disappointment similar to last year’s Rumble match.

The insider also says that officials in the company are concerned about risking a win on Bryan due to his past injury history and the uncertainty of his long-term future. Triple H reportedly held a talent meeting and said they aren’t sure who will win the Rumble match and main event WrestleMania, challenging the roster over the next couple of weeks to make their case.
