Backstage Update – Bubba Ray Dudley’s WWE Status

As seen at the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view on Sunday night, former WWE Superstar Bubba Ray Dudley, the former “Bully Ray” in TNA, made a surprise appearance in the 30-man match.

For those wondering, Dudley’s partner, D-Von Dudley, was not backstage at the event as we noted earlier, which is why R-Truth was used to do the double-team “Dudley Boys” spots in the match.

Bubba’s return on Sunday night was said to be a one-time deal as of right now, although WWE officials are said to be very open to bringing him back. The two sides are in talks and many believe he’ll be back full-time, The deal may have already been reached.
