Paige recently spoke with Chuck Carroll of The Turnbuckle Weekly promoting Total Divas and more. The former Divas champion talked about her main roster debut, the pot brownie prank she pulled on Natalya on the season premiere and more.
Paige was asked about whether AJ Lee had any resenment about losing the Divas Title to her in her first match and denied it, saying, “She was really, really cool about it. That day she came up to me and said ‘this is what’s going to happen and if you need any help’ and ‘what do you want to do?’”
She added that she had no idea she was going to wrestle that night, let alone win. She said she was told about the title win very informally and casuallly.
