According to a post on Reddit by user metsfan4Ever, a “verified WWE insider” who has broken and revealed some backstage news in the past, the reason Dolph Ziggler was booked to lose the Intercontinental title on RAW was because of a comedy gig he had booked at Second City Hollywood outside of his WWE commitments. Ziggler also does stand-up comedy work and is pursuing opportunities doing improv and stand-up comedy.
