Michaels and Collinsworth read a prepared statement by the NFL this past Saturday. It praised NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and spoke about the NFL’s “integrity”.
On RAW, Michael Cole, JBL and Booker T read a “statement from the Authority” that also mentioned integrity. Booker T took a shot at it and JBL said, “easy Bill Simmons”. Simmons is an ESPN and Grantland writer who was suspended for making “disparaging” remarks towards Goodell.
