The Final WWE SmackDown Rating Is In, Chael Sonnen/WWE Update, More

— The Thursday, February 5th edition of WWE SmackDown scored a final 1.76 (1.7) cable rating, down from the previous week’s 2.06 rating. The show averaged 2.441 million viewers, which was also down from last week’s show, which averaged 2.952 million viewers.

— Earlier this week, former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen appeared on TSN’s Off The Record and revealed that both he and Wanderlei Silva received invitations from WWE to appear at WrestleMania weekend.

WWE issued a statement denying Chael’s claim, with Silva also claiming on Facebook that he was invited to WrestleMania by WWE.

Despite WWE’s denial, Sonnen will at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony and WrestleMania.
