— Regarding the criticism of this year’s 30-man Royal Rumble match, Jamie Noble was the producer of the match, with Joey Mercury serving as the assistant in putting the match together. Also involved in helping structure the match were Michael Hayes, Pat Patterson and Brian James (aka Road Dogg). That is probably the reason James was so upset when seeing the reaction on Twitter, with people calling it the worst Royal Rumble match of all-time.
— WWE’s sponsorship deal with Tapout clothing has been officially completed. As noted last week, at this point it’s just a question of when the deal will be officially announced to the public.
