— Former U.K. soccer player Stuart Tomlinson (Hugo Knox) is receiving high praise for his work in NXT. Tomlinson is considered to be progressing faster than the other developmental talents, despite his limited experience. Knox, 29, has been in WWE developmental for ony 15 months, and is considered to have good agility for his size.

— Although it was rumored for a while, there has been no discussions as of late about bringing former NXT Champion Adrian Neville to the main roster as a “Mighty Mouse” character.

Vince McMahon has reportedly wanted to do a “Mighty Mouse” underdog type of character with a small wrestler for a while, and even wanted to bring in Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo to fill that role. Cejudo, however, chose a career with the UFC instead.
