Backstage Update – Eddie Edwards Injury & TNA Plans

As previously reported, Eddie Edwards broke his heel during the previous set of iMPACT! Wrestling TV tapings. Edwards is expected to be back in time for the May TV tapings, although there is no word on what the promotion plans to do with the TNA Tag Team Titles that he co-holds with Davey Richards.

TNA didn’t want to make an official announcement about the injury after the Wolves won the belts last week. While it is possible that they could do nothing with the titles, that would mean that the Wolves wouldn’t defend the titles for over two months in terms of TV time.
