Former UFC and Pride FC fighter Phil Baroni is reportedly training to go into pro wrestling. He last fought in July 2014, losing to Karo Parisyan by knockout at Bellator 122.
Baroni has been a recognized name throughout the years for his memorable trash talk and feuds with the likes of Frank Shamrock. However, he generally always came up short in the bigger fights of his career. His current MMA record stands at 15-18, and he is 38 years old.
Baroni is said to be training under Mike Modest, former WWE and TNA wrestler D’Lo Brown, and TNA’s Kenny King at the Future Stars of Wrestling gym in Las Vegas, Nevada.
