Samoa Joe made his return to Ring of Honor during the ROH 13th anniversary pay-per-view on Sunday night. Joe received a huge pop from the Las Vegas, NV crowd and cut a promo that started out with “Who says you can’t come home?”. The crowd chanted “Welcome back” and “Joe, Joe, Joe!”
Joe said that over 13 years ago, he and others started a revolution and he was glad to see that it was still going strong today. At this point, the crowd chanted “Joe’s gonna’ kill you” and “F*ck TNA”.
Joe then went on to praise the main event World Title match, saying, “whoever walks out of the main event tonight as champion … their ass is mine. I am Samoa Joe … I am back in ROH … and I will be the next Ring of Honor World Champion. I am pro wrestling!”
Despite the crowd referencing TNA Wrestling in a vulgar manner, Joe never mentioned them and simply smirked at the crowd chants.
