WWE filmed a segment with The Bella Twins, AJ Lee and Paige for this week’s SmackDown, and it was described as one of the best Diva promo segments in recent memory.
One line that garnered a lot of attention during the segment was when Nikki Bella said that Brock Lesnar defended his title more than AJ Lee did in the past year.
If the line makes it to television this week, then it’s safe to assume that it was a scripted line. If it doesn’t, it’s likely that Bella took a shot at AJ by going off script, something both she and AJ have done in the past.
Speaking of AJ Lee and the shot Bella took against her, there’s said to be heat backstage within WWE on AJ regarding the amount of time she took off recently.
