Here is a brief report from the Mick Foley: Cheap Pops taping for the WWE Network tonight Full Sail University:
– NXT personality Greg Hamilton was the host for the evening.
– Jim Ross opened up the show with about 30 minutes of stories and a relatively short Q&A segment. I don’t know if this will be on the WWE Network or not. His portion was not advertised as such.
– Mick Foley did about an hour between stories and his Q&A. It did have a network graphic on the screen behind him.
– Some topics touched upon during the show:
* His thoughts on Brock ending the streak.
* His first match in WCW.
* What Vince thought about him during the early days of his WWE run.
* His views on his physical ability.
– More thoughts came up during his Q&A including his favorite prank story, Wrestlemania moments, and his interview with JR.
– Foley’s family was all in attendance. His daughter Noelle did an introduction for Mick. One of his other kids was also a part of the show but I didn’t catch the name.
– I believe JBL was originally reported to be a part of the show, but he did not appear and was not mentioned.
– Several NXT talents noted being there for the show, but did not appear on the show.
– There was supposed to be a meet and greet but it did not happen due to circumstances with the venue.
– Foley did announce there would be new shows in July in other Florida locations including St. Augustine and Cocoa Beach.
– No air date for the show was announced.
