Although there have been rumors that Scott Hall parted ways with Global Force Wrestling due to a potential NXT deal, that is not the case. Hall was pulled from GFW as soon as TMZ broke the story about him getting kicked out of a festival in New Jersey due to public intoxication.
Regarding the status of GFW, there is currently no television deal in place and while they are looking at using Jim Ross and Chael Sonnen as their announcers, neither man has actually signed with the promotion. Sonnen has been recording videos for GFW and appeared at their Las Vegas press conference earlier this month, but he has yet to sign a deal with the company.
