Backstage Report: WWE Interested In UFC’s Jessamyn Duke

According to sources, there are people within WWE pushing the idea of signing UFC’s Jessamyn Duke if she loses her next fight. If Duke were to lose her next fight, it would be her third loss in a row and most times, the UFC tends to cut ties with a fighter that loses three fights in a row. Duke is 28 years old, is 3-2 in MMA, and did modeling before getting into MMA. The idea would be to bring her in to be part of the relaunch of the Divas Search later this year.

The idea is that there is a transition coming in the WWE Diva’s division, which is something that Triple H has talked about in the past. The Paige promos about change in the women’s division and how none of the WWE Divas would side with her would look to be the catalyst for some new women to be introduced as Paige’s allies to fight the established divas. Triple H has also been openly impressed with Ronda Rousey’s UFC success, and believes that the UFC women could be successful.
