Rockstar Spud weighed in on TNA iMPACT! Wrestling moving to Wednesday with Ring of Honor in a new interview. Spud said that he thinks it’s a good move to move away from Friday nights.
“I think it’s a great move for us because obviously not a lot of people watch television on a Friday night,” he said. “Even though we built a great audience on the Friday nights with Destination America moving to Wednesday’s is going to help us a lot more. All of a sudden now we’ve got ‘Pro Wrestling Wednesday so Wednesday night is pro wrestling night in America and serious to God it’s a great time to be a wrestling fan and employ everybody to watch and because every Wednesday some of the best athletes in the world are going to be performing for you guys and its good for the business and its good for the industry.”
