Backstage Update – WWE’s Plans For Finn Balor + Network Specials

Currently, the plan in WWE is to hold a few special events like this Saturday’s “Beast In The East” live WWE Network special from Japan a few times per year whether live or tape-delayed. However, it’s worth noting that WWE views this as broadcasting house shows opposed to it being a major production.

Also, for this Saturday’s live special, WWE premiered a new documentary on Finn Balor called “The Demon Revealed” that showed his journey to his co-main event match on the show against Kevin Owens for the NXT Championship.

Everyone is expecting a title switch in the Balor-Owens match, as the current belief is that Owens is pretty much done with NXT and will transition completely to the main roster exclusively as soon as he drops the title.
