WWE has announced that the scheduled triple-threat match for the WWE Intercontinental title is off of this Sunday’s Battleground pay-per-view event.
Initially, it was known that Ryback would be unable to compete due to a staph infection in his right knee, however it was unclear whether or not Big Show and The Miz, the other two Superstars booked in the match, would still compete on the card.
It should be pointed out that while Big Show and The Miz are both off of Sunday’s Battleground pay-per-view right now, as is the case with all WWE shows, it is “subject to change.”
