More Rumored WWE Battleground **SPOILERS**

UPDATE x 2: As previously reported, WWE was looking to fill some time on today’s WWE Battleground card since the Intercontinental title match fell off the event due to Ryback’s injury. Sasha Banks, Charlotte and Becky Lynch were all brought to St. Louis for the show, possibly to fill some time for the PPV.

In addition, a Divas bout could be added to the PPV to replace the former IC title match-up. The plan being thrown around is to have a triple threat match involving one member of each Divas trio that were on RAW. Someone from Team Bella vs. a member of Team Paige vs. a member of Team Naomi.

Of course, these plans are not “final,” so take the news with a grain of salt. The creative team is said to still be throwing ideas around for the show and awaiting approval from WWE officials.

UPDATE: As previously reported, Sting is expected to be back in time for SummerSlam. According to sources, the Icon could make his return as soon as tonight at Battleground.

Sting could make his return during the Roman Reigns/Bray Wyatt match, noting that it’s where “Sting fits in” to the company’s plans. There have also been plans to slide Luke Harper into that feud somewhere, which could be a possible development to go down at the PPV.

ORIGINAL: Sasha Banks, Charlotte and Becky Lynch were all brought into St. Louis for tonight’s WWE Battleground PPV. The three of them arrives in the city yesteerday. With the IC Title match cancelled due to Ryback’s injury, WWE now has time to fill on the show.
