UPDATE: According to sources, ROH has reportedly sent Global Force Wrestling a cease and desist letter. It is said that GFW was infringing upon ROH’s brand in radio and television ads that promote this Friday’s GFW television taping in Las Vegas, NV. Reports claim that the GFW ads have been referring the “appearance of ROH stars” at the event. ROH runs the Death Before Dishonor iPPV the same night in Baltimore, so the odds ROH talent appearing on a GFW show isn’t likely.
Yesterday it was reported that Chris Sabin would not be appearing at the GFW event “due to an injury”. According to sources, Sabin was never officially booked for the event. ROH has a big presence in Las Vegas, as they air on two TV stations and just ran an event in the city last week, so they are very aware of what goes on in the market.
ORIGINAL: GFW has posted a new video to announced that Chris Sabin has been pulled from a match at GFW’s Amped tapings in Las Vegas on Friday. Sabin was originally set to team with Kushida against Reno SCUM, but now Kushida will compete in a singles match as part of the NEX*GEN title tournament.
