Both Ring of Honor and TNA iMPACT! Wrestling took a big fall in the ratings on Destination America Thursday night. The first airing of Ring of Honor drew 89,000 viewers and a 0.02 rating in the 18 – 49 demo, down a painful 31% and a tenth from last week’s 128,000 viewers and 0.03 demo rating. It’s the lowest rating in both metrics for the show to date. The 11PM replay did even worse, with its 80,000 viewers and 0.02 demo rating down 40% and even with last week.
Meanwhile, TNA iMPACT! Wrestling fared better in terms of its fall, though that’s nothing to be proud of. The first airing brought in 293,000 viewers and a 0.08 demo rating, which was down 17% and 11% from last week’s 353,000 viewers and 0.09 demo rating. The midnight replay brought in 72,000 viewers and a 0.02 demo rating. Those numbers were down 28% and even with last week’s 100,000 viewers and 0.02.
It is worth mentioning that the majority of the shows were up against UFC Fight Night 71, depending on the time zone. The UFC show began at 10 PM ET on FOX Sports 1, and that could well have to do with the massive drop.
None of the ROH or TNA shows cracked the top one-hundred cable shows for the night.
