While Ring of Honor saw a slip in viewership and stability in its rating Wednesday night, TNA iMPACT Wrestling took a significant hit in both metrics. iMPACT! drew an all-time record low of 267,000 viewers and a 0.09 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic for its post-Slammiversary pay-per-view episode. Those numbers are down 28% and 25% from the week before and are the lowest ratings for an original Destination America airing of the show to date. The previous low was the first Wednesday episode on June 3rd, which drew 297,000 viewers and a 0.09 demo rating.
iMPACT’s midnight replay episode added just 51,000 viewers and a 0.01 demo rating, down from last week’s 82,000 and 0.03.
As for Ring of Honor, it wasn’t anything to cheer about but not nearly as dire. The episode of ROH TV drew 157,000 viewers and a 0.05 demo rating, down 15% in viewers from last week’s 185,000 but holding at the same demo point. The viewership was the lowest on Destination America but the rating was tied for last week with the highest yet. The 11 PM replay drew 81,000 viewers and a 0.03 demo rating, down from last week’s 145,000 and 0.04.
