According to sources, here are the latest details on the audio PPV issues with the TripleMania event.
As previously reported, the show was filled with audio issues for most of the event. Often times, Matt Striker could be heard announcing but Hugo Savinovich couldn’t. Striker worked through the issues as best as possible, but no one came out to help the announce team. The internet in the building was horrible, and it wasn’t until late in the show when someone came out to give Savinovich a new microphone so he could be heard.
The pay-per-view feed in Mexico had audio trouble at the very beginning and a blank screen at one point early. Word is that they tried to do the PPV “on the cheap”, which led to the disastrous audio issues.
