It was previously reported that WWE might sign 33-year-old Japanese wrestling legend Kanna, as she was in attendance at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn. The news was actually reported by Japanese website Enuhito, who claimed that the signing happened weeks ago.
In an update on this, Kanna was not part of the WWE tryout at Sumo Hall the last time WWE was in Japan, but they did previously look at her.
One way to tell that she may have been signed is that WWE spells her name as Kanna, but she goes by Kana.
