— WrestleCon has announced the first guests for 2016’s WrestleCon show in Dallas, Texas during WrestleMania weekend. Set so far for the show are Kurt Angle, Bobby Heenan, Debra Marshall, Raven, Justin Credible, Scott Steiner, Paul Ellering, Nikolai Volkoff, Marty Jannetty, Missy Hyatt, Barbarian, Warlord, Jimmy Snuka, the former Kelly Kelly, Scott Putski, Melina, Ivan Putski, Bob Holly, Stacy Carter, Jacqueline Moore, Bart Gunn and The Honky Tonk Man.

— The long-gestating graphic novel about Andre the Giant has a release date at last. Brandon Easton and Dennis Medri’s Andre the Giant: Closer to Heaven is set to be released on December 10th. The book, which is authorized by Andre’s estate, is described as follows:

Easton with gorgeous artwork by Denis Medri, this unprecedented biography of Andre the Giant charts his earliest days on his family’s farm, to his enormously successful runs in Japan, to his heated feuds with the biggest wrestling stars of all time, to his memorable turns in Hollywood TV and cinema and to his darkest moments caused by excessive substance abuse.
