It was a good night for wrestling on Destination America, as both TNA iMPACT! Wrestling and Ring of Honor saw increases in viewership from last week. iMPACT! Wrestling drew 272,000 viewers for its first airing and 122,000 viewers for the midnight re-airing, up 5% and a whopping 97% from last week’s 258,000 viewers and 62,000. While the 8 PM airing is still down significantly from the 353,000 viewers from two weeks ago as well as the 313,000 average that the show has pulled in on Wednesdays, the midnight airing brought in the best numbers for that timeslot since Impact began airing at the time period.
The midnight iMPACT! boost can be attributed to a similar rise for Ring of Honor. The 11 PM episode of ROH brought in 168,000 viewers, up 89% from the previous week’s series low of 89,000. The numbers were the best for the 11 PM timeslot yet and in fact were better than all but one airing during its run at 7 PM.
The 18 – 49 demographic ratings have yet to be released.
