As reported yesterday, it was discovered that the Twitter account of Nhooph Al-Areebi, who works in NXT as Jasmin, had racially-charged posts on it from three years ago. The posts were made when she was sixteen and seventeen years old.
WWE has issued a statement in regard to the social media messages, which reads as follows:
“WWE conducted a thorough investigation and has determined that Nhooph Al-Areebi’s (aka Jasmin) Twitter account was used without her knowledge when she was 16 and 17 years old. Jasmin remains apologetic for any offensive remarks that were made.”
