— WWE SmackDown is slowly, surely climbing out of the ratings basement it fell into. Thursday night’s episode drew 2.138 million viewers and a 0.58 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic. Those numbers are up 3% and 4% from last week’s 2.083 million and 0.56 demo rating; its the third week of growth since the non-holiday all-time low of 1.981 million viewers and 0.52 from September 3rd.
SmackDown came in at #5 among cable originals for the night, with Thursday Night Football on the NFL Network leading the way with a 1.40 demo rating and 3.226 million viewers.
