Hulk Hogan’s lawsuit with Gawker will remain sealed after all. WFLA reports that during a hearing yesterday on a request by media outlets to unseal records in the lawsuit, the judge ruled that the records will not be disclosed.
The AP and other outlets had been requesting the details, as the FBI’s involvement led to increased media interest as to what they uncovered. It was argued that the evidence was newsworthy and should be investigated, but the judge disagreed. The records were unsealed for Gawker, as they’re the defendants in the suit, but are not allowed to be made public.
