Update – Did WWE Issue A Statement Regarding Blood At HIAC?

UPDATE: The purported statement by WWE about blood in the Hell in a Cell main event was not new, and in fact was the statement issued after the match between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 31 this year.

ORIGINAL: Following fan speculation that the Undertaker and Brock Lesnar intentionally bled during last night’s WWE Hell in a Cell main event, the WWE released the following statement today…

“WWE programming is TV-PG and we don’t permit intentional bleeding. The communication or contact between our performers and referees is part of our safety protocol. That said, unintentional blood sometimes occurs, and we do our best to minimize.”
