The upcoming ESPN 30 For 30 documentary special on Ric Flair will reportedly feature some archival footage on Flair. Vince McMahon reportedly signed off on ESPN using the archival footage. Flair has spent hours filming interview footage for the special earlier this month, and ESPN was also backstage filming at WWE Survivor Series in Atlanta, Georgia.
The special is reportedly set to cover Flair’s career, his personal and financial issues, the tragic passing of his son Reid, the 1975 plane crash and more. There will also be some highlights of his career in the 1980s when Flair was at his wrestling peak as the NWA world champion along with the Four Horsemen stable.
