Backstage News On The ‘Tator Tots’ RAW Promo

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has a report on the “tater tots” promo between Roman Reigns and Sheamus from last week’s RAW.

The main event segment received a lot of criticism because the segment went on forever and did not accomplish much. According to the report, the line from Reigns where he said, “I thought the Irish had potatoes but you’re smuggling tater tots,” was an effort by WWE in wanting the fans to chant “tater tots.”
