The expanding relationship between WWE and WWNLive is paying off big dividends for EVOLVE. As reported yesterday, William Regal and American Alpha (Chad Gable & Jason Jordan) are set to appear at the January 23rd EVOLVE show in Orlando, which takes place during Royal Rumble weekend. Gable and Jordan are doing a VIP signing while Regal will be part of the live event in some way.
According to sources, talks for the appearances began just a week ago and finished up yesterday before the announcements were made. EVOLVE is said to be excited about the appearances, as it is the first time Gable & Jordan have appeared in an indy setting since joining NXT and Regal helps their credibility.
The announcement also saw a big boost in the pre-show training seminar sign-ups for that weekend, with the impression being that WWN Live could be a way into WWE’s developmental system.
