With Hulk Hogan’s win over Gawker on Friday has him apparently hoping he can get back with WWE. Take this as a rumor right now considering the source, but Hollywood Life reports that Hogan is now hoping he can return to the company.
A source close to Hogan told the outlet, “Hulk Hogan is beyond pleased with the results [of the lawsuit] and is looking to get his life back in order. And he would love his job back with the WWE.”
It’s worth noting that while Hogan did win a big judgment against Gawker (with probably more on the way), it’s not over right now by any means as Gawker has said they plan to appeal. In addition, it’s important to point out that Hogan was not fired from WWE due to the sex tape’s publication, but rather the racial tirade he was caught delivering on camera. As such it isn’t likely that he’ll be back with the company any time soon, although he has expressed his desire in interviews to come back when they allow him to.
