Mick Foley and Chris Jericho have both contributed heavily to the memorial fund for Balls Mahoney. The GoFundMe campaign for Mahoney, who passed away last week at the age of forty-four, was set up by the wrestler’s cousin Jemma to help his widow Gayle and his son Christopher and has raised $12,970 as of this writing with two notable donations: Michael Foley giving $1,000 and Chris Irvine giving $5,000.
Pro Wrestling Sheet has confirmed with sources close to Foley that it is legitimately Mick Foley, who used his real name to donate the thousand to the fund. Jericho’s donation has not yet been confirmed as him, but all signs seem to point to it being legit.
The funeral for Mahoney is set for this coming weekend in New Jersey. You can click the first link in this article to donate to the fund.
