Backstage EVOLVE 61 News – TNA’s Ethan Carter III Debuts, New GCS Competitor

At EVOLVE 61 last night, TJP defeated Fred Yehi and Drew Gulak defeated Tracy Williams to qualify for the WWE Cruiserweight Classic.

TNA’s Ethan Carter III also appeared on the EVOLVE 61 broadcast as Drew Galloway’s surprise. The two attacked several members of the roster, and Carter cut a promo on WWE, noting that he succeeded without their help and became a world champion, just like Galloway did. The angle is that Galloway had turned on Johnny Gargano, due to his alliance with WWE (Gargano has been working for WWE NXT). Galloway feels that it is hurting independent wrestling and that EVOLVE are giving into WWE, and losing their independent spirit.
