Backstage Update – Which Talents Has WWE Contacted To Return?

It has been confirmed that WWE has approached Kurt Angle, MVP, Carlito and Stevie Richards. Angle went public with the information on Mark Madden’s radio show this past week. Paul Levesque called Angle, and while they did not get into specifics, they did say that they would get back to him.

There is no deal in place, but the feeling is that Angle would not be able to work a full time WWE schedule. Unless they plan to use him in a non-wrestling role, he’s likely be on a Brock Lesnar or Triple H like schedule. This is a complete change from WWE, who had claimed since Angle’s departure in 20006 that he would never bring him back.
