Even More Details On Paige Being ‘Detained’ By Police Following WWE MITB

UPDATE x 2: Court Bauer and Konnan, who is a good friend of Alberto Del Rio’s discussed the post-Money in the Bank incident with Paige on MLW Radio.

According to Konnan, the whole thing went down when Paige and Del Rio went to see the Absinthe variety show in Las Vegas and got heckled by a drunk couple. The couple called Paige and Del Rio “fake wrestlers” and other things of that nature. An argument broke out and Paige was “accosted,” after which police were called to the scene. Everyone involved was handcuffed and Paige was briefly taken to an ambulance to make sure she was okay. The two were free to go after that and there wasn’t any drunkenness on their part, nor any domestic dispute or jaywalking.

UPDATE: Video of Paige’s being detailed by police in Las Vegas after Money in the Bank have come online. You can see the video below, which shows Paige being led away. As was previously reported, no charges were filed in the incident and she left the hospital after initially being taken there. WWE is still investigating.

While he was present at the incident, rumors and speculation that Alberto Del Rio (who is dating Paige in real-life) was involved in a domestic incident that led to authorities getting involved are completely false. Paige competed at RAW last night and is backstage at the SmackDown taping today.

ORIGINAL: WWE women’s wrestler Paige was taken to the hospital last night after Money in the Bank under police detention. Pro Wrestling Sheet has confirmed that Paige was taken to the hospital after police were flagged down outside of Caesars Palace in Las Vegas because of a woman who was seen running into the streets.

The site notes that the police caught up with and detained the woman — who sources say was Paige, but whom law enforcement was unable to identify due to HIPAA laws. The officers determined that she needed to go to the hospital for “undisclosed reasons.”

Paige is obviously no longer under police custody or at the hospital as she worked a WWE Women’s Title match against Charlotte during RAW. It appears WWE isn’t punishing her either as they wouldn’t have had her work RAW.
