As previously reported, it was reported by Enuhito that Finn Balor contacted Kota Ibushi about competing in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic. However, Enuhito is also reporting that someone else who personally contacted Ibushi about taking part in the tournament was none other than WWE’s Triple H.
According to the report, Ibushi originally turned down the offer from WWE in order to work on his own projects. However, after receiving a personal call from Triple H and having a conversation with him, he opted to accept the offer.
Currently, it’s still unknown if Ibushi will be joining NXT or the main roster after the Cruiserweight Classic.
