The lead singer of the “DX Band” who performed the Attitude Era stable’s theme song has passed away. Chris Warren passed away on Sunday at the age of forty-nine according to Sorce Funeral Home, who published his obituary.
Warren contributed vocals to the “Break It Down” DX theme as well as X-Pac’s theme song, Triple H’s “My Time” and the intro to Superstars in the late ’90s. He performed “America the Beautiful” at WrestleMania 14 and also contributed several songs for TNA events.
According to the obituary, Warren “died suddenly” on Sunday. No cause of death was noted. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Spector, his three brothers, Steven (Lena) Spector, Andrew (Jill) Spector and Danny (Margit) Spector and his sister, Laura Spector.
