The president of WWE’s International division has left the company. Gerrit Meier, who joined the company in March of 2013, has left. Meier was responsible for expanding the company’s international TV distribution agreements and managing the “continued advancement of WWE’s international licensing, live events, digital and publishing operations.” Before working for WWE, he had been the Global General Manager for Distribution and Partnerships at Spotify.
It is not currently known if WWE will hire a new person for the position or restructure things so those who reported to Meier will report to already-existing companies.
