Backstage Update – Shane McMahon’s Current WWE Status

Here is the latest on Shane McMahon’s WWE status. During last Monday’s edition of RAW, Vince McMahons said that Shane McMahon will serve as the commissioner of SmackDown after the new brand split.

According to the Wrestling Observer, McMahon still does not have any type of front office position with the WWE, and he has told his friends he has no idea how much longer he will be appearing on WWE programming.
