— The July 12th episode of TNA iMPACT! will have a Destination X theme, featuring World champion Bobby Lashley vs the X Division champion with both titles on the line.

— Maryland Championship Wrestling will hold their last event under that name on Friday in Waldorf, Maryland at the Regency Furniture Stadium. It will simply be known as MCW in the future. Those scheduled for the event included Ron Simmons, Billy Gunn, Sean Waltman, Drolix, Renee Michelle and more. They are rebranding to remove any connotations of being a regional promotion, as they’ve had offers to run outside of Maryland.

Meanwhile, MCW will hold their biggest event of the year on July 16 at the MCW Arena in Joppa, Maryland This is the annual Shane Shamrock Memorial Cup. Sting and Lex Luger will appear for autographs and photos before the show. Lio Rush will defend his spot as the winner of last year’s tournament.

On September 23 at Jimmy’s Seafood in Baltimore, MCW presents Ringside with Jim Ross and Jim Cornette, with the legends telling stories from their careers.

On September 24, there will be a Tribute to the Legends convention from 9-4, followedb y a live show that night with Bret Hart, Jim Neidhart, Jim Cornette, Jim Ross, Greg Valentine, Tito Santana, Howard Finkel, Hillbilly Jim, Jimmy Hart, Bob Orton, Koko B. Ware, Honkytonk Man, Paul Orndorff and more.
