In an interview with ComicBook.com, Paige spoke about the brand split and mentioned she hoped it would provide “more opportunities” and “more rest days, too.” Here are highlights:
On appearing in the new Scooby-Doo/WWE movie: “I didn’t know I was on the freaking cover, right?! This was cool. Basically, I get to be myself, obviously, but more exaggerated. You have to project a bit more for voiceover. It was a lot of fun. It felt weird at first, as you’re in a booth by yourself talking to yourself.”
On delivering lines vs. performing in front of a crowd: “At Wrestlemania, it was over a hundred thousand people there. Playing to a big crowd, I grew up learning how to adjust to that kind of thing. I didn’t learn to do this until I got to the WWE.”
On if there’s anything she’d like in 2016: “Yeah, the Women’s Championship! So please give me that!”
