The young fan who received an honorary status as a WWE superstar has been admitted into the ICU. Elijah “Drax Shadow” Mainville’s mother took to Facebook to reveal that Elijah was admitted to the pediatric ICU due to extremely low sodium levels.
Elijah’s mother wrote that he is being infused with sodium water and is extremely dehydrated. He hasn’t eaten in a week due to nausea and pain, though she noted that since he was admitted to the ICU she has seen a little improvement in him. It isn’t certain what is causing the low sodium levels; Elijah has neuroblastoma, a form of cancer that develops in infants and young children.
Cody Rhodes sent some well-wishes to him, posting to Twitter:
