WWE had plans to have both The Muppets and Paige VanZant appear at SummerSlam, but they aren’t going to happen. There were plans to have members of the Muppets make a surprise appearance this weekend, but a scheduling problem came up.
Meanwhile, the company had been in talks with VanZant for a role on the show, but negotiations ended up falling through.
