Original SummerSlam Plans – Muppets & Paige VanZant Scrapped?

WWE had plans to have both The Muppets and Paige VanZant appear at SummerSlam, but they aren’t going to happen. There were plans to have members of the Muppets make a surprise appearance this weekend, but a scheduling problem came up.

Meanwhile, the company had been in talks with VanZant for a role on the show, but negotiations ended up falling through.

SummerSlam takes place on Sunday from Brooklyn, New York
